Journal spread #1 -- 30 Days in Your Journal
I am sorry this is sideways - I don't know how to adjust it in this blogging editor. The image is the correct orientation in my image editor.
I am taking an online course with Julie Fei-Fan Balzer entitled "30 Days in Your Journal" and I am loving it!
I love how this spread turned out originally, and I loved the process. Then I got some spillage from the next page onto it. And I tried to fix it, which just ended up muddying the page.
It was a good lesson in detachment, and so I smiled :)
Thanks for looking.
lovin' the journey,
Lela aka Serenity Stamper

Serenity Sisters
This is a treat bag for each of the "Serenity Sisters" in my Downline. Just a little note that says "hello."
I sure wish I could have joined Kanaka and Anasuya at the SU! Convention. Maybe next year.
Working today, and then starting to pack tonight to get ready to go to my stepson Chris' wedding. We are driving up to Portland from Rocklin, stopping in Arcata to pick up my nephew Adam. We leave Thursday morning early early.
Blessings,
Lela

Updates...
Just a quick update. I've been making a lot of cards lately, so I'll post one of them.
This is a card I made for a swap. I went to a Shoebox Swap event yesterday in Folsom. 11 other ladies and I got together and stamped like mad. This was my contribution.
I love this sweet, sweet stamp set from SU! I love the soft colors. And I especially love that, since I am SUCH a slow stamper, I am already playing around with cards for the holidays. Hopefully I will actually make and mail some this year :)
It was great to get together with other gals IN PERSON. So much of what I do is remote. Visiting with others on the stamping boards, working on a worldwide team, e-mails to my volunteer colleagues. There is nothing like visiting with like-minded people face to face.
Blessings to you :)
